On Monday, September 27, 2021, Margaret Jennings Wade, loving mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 66.

Margaret was born on April 19, 1955, to Marshall George Jennings and Ann Liddle Jennings. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Radford University and Grand Canyon University. Margaret practiced a dedicated career of over thirty years in special education in both North Carolina and Virginia. Her passion and dedication to education allowed her to develop and assist others in becoming their best in life. Margret was blessed with two sons, Shawn Brooms and Marshall Wade.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Jennings, and brother, Dan Jennings. She is survived by her mother, Ann Jennings, her sons, Shawn and Marshall, daughter-in-law, Lauren Wade; three grandchildren, Olivia, Leah, and Noah; and sister-in-law, Cathy Jennings.

On Saturday, October 9, 2021, a graveside service will be at Gladeville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Galax at 1 o'clock p.m. Flowers may be sent to Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, 1035 N. Main Street, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
