Margaret Louise Snead, 81, of Christiansburg, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mrs. Snead was born in Wythe County to the late John Crockett and Thelma Elaine Farmer Shipwash. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Snead and sister, Gloria Swanson Alderman. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John K. and April Jackson of Christiansburg, granddaughter, Brooke Jackson; niece, Elaine Alderman of Hillsville; great niece Dalva Doss; great nephew, Thomas Doss; and foster grandchildren, Hailey Quesenberry and Gabe Quesenberry. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Gardner Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Ron Kronk. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
