Margaret Jaquita Quesenberry, 89, of Hillsville, departed this life on June 20, 2012 at Trinity Mission and Rehab of Hillsville. Mrs. Quesenberry was born to the late Arnold Woodrow and Mossie Danford Nicewander Aliff in Mayberry, West Virginia. Mrs. Quesenberry received her certificate in Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured in 1975, and was a member of the Hillsville Rescue Squad. She also attended New River Community College and received her State Board of Nursing license for Licensed Practical Nurse in 1979. She was predeceased by her husband James Jackson "Jack" Quesenberry; grandson James Carson "JC" Moore, Jr.; son-in-law James Carson Moore; sisters and brothers Edith Aliff, Alva Slagle, Theda Hodges, Harold Aliff, Elwood Aliff and James Aliff. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Jaquita Ann Moore of Front Royal, VA, Patricia Evelyn and Dallas Ray Cox of Hillsville, Regina Danford and Gary Dalton of Wardensville, WV, and Frances Renae and Melvin Funkhouser of Front Royal, VA; sons and daughters-in-law Thomas Woodrow and Mary Quesenberry of Huddleston, VA, Russell Lee and Susan Quesenberry of Manassas, VA and James Leroy and Lisa Quesenberry of Hillsville; twelve grandchildren and spouses Theresa and Sanford Dalton, Sheila and Warren Newman, Kim Dalton, Mike Dalton, Freddy and Carolyn Bozzuto, Jennifer Talbot, Amy Quesenberry, Sherry and Mike Cairns, Alissa Quesenberry, Marie Quesenberry, Angie and Brian Collins, and Heidi Tanner; nine great-grandchildren Amanda Moore, Justin Cairns, Makayla and Katlyn Newman, Julianna Bozzuto, Tianna Quesenberry, Xana Smith, Malakhi Banks, and Scott Collins; sisters and brothers-in-law Charline Seador, Naoma and Bernie Sproles, and Verlinda and Billy Nutter; thirteen nieces; six nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
