Margaret Painter Montgomery, 82 of Hillsville, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Montgomery is survived by her son C. Michael Montgomery of Denver, CO and four grandchildren Michael Anthony Montgomery, Jennifer Daphne McLees, Alexander Sullivan Montgomery and Catherine Rebecca Montgomery.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Hillsville at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ty Harrison and Pastor Ronnie Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladeville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday night at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel.
