Margaret Flinn McDonald, 94, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Arnold and Lulu Marie Flinn; a brother, Howard "Beckett" Flinn; and a grandson, Christopher "David" McDonald.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas McDonald of the home; children, Iris Ann and James Norman of Fruitland Park, FL and Christopher D. and Pamela McDonald of Fancy Gap, VA; siblings and spouse, Mary I. Seligman of Belpre, OH and John E. and Phyllis Flinn of Washington, WV; grandchildren and spouses, John C. and Deb McDonald of Centennial, CO, Gregory R. McDonald of Fancy Gap, Laura M. and Matt Nicholson of Wellsburg, WV, and Christalynn R. and Matt Oakes of Belpre, OH; and seven great-grandchildren.

Born in Belleville, WV and formerly of Belpre, OH, Margaret graduated from Parkersburg High School and worked as a RN. She was currently attending Freedom Baptist Church in Fancy Gap, VA. Mrs. McDonald enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, crocheting, and knitting and was a talented artist.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Pastor Danny Plum officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
