Marcus Leon Goad, 58, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Ardith Goad.

Survivors include his two sons, Marcus G. Goad of Hillsville, and Travis E. Goad of Massachusetts; two sisters, Patricia Quesinberry of Hillsville, and Shirley Shaffer of Galax; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Goad Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Goad family.
