Marcus Gayle Goad, 40 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Twin County Regional Hospital.  Mr. Goad was born in Mt. Airy, NC on October 19, 1983 and was preceded in death by his father, Marcus L. Goad and brother, Travis Eli Goad.

Survivors include his mother, Elaine Osborne; grandmother, Oma Jean Osborne; aunt, Deborah Joy; cousins, Chelsea Dunevant, Eithan Bryant and Junior; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Zeb Hicks officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
