Mallie H. Dalton, 96, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Dalton was born in Carroll County to the late Orben and Mae Dalton Hicks. Mrs. Dalton is also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Ray Dalton, a son, James Ray Dalton, a brother, Marion Hicks and sisters, Alva Bryant, Zelma Utt and Claudia Hicks. Mrs. Dalton is survived by her sons, Garnett Dalton and wife,Vera of Hillsville and Lynn Dalton and wife, Claralee of, Hillsville. She is also survived by Three Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren, and her Brothers and sisters, Harlie Hicks, of Roanoke, Luria Warner, of Salem, Nancy Montgomery, of Salem, Edna Spencer, of Roanoke, Arlie Mabry, of Roanoke, Eieen Phillips, of Springville, Mary Mabry, of Galax and a Sister-in-law, Zinna H. Webb, of Hillsville. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Stephen Puckett officiating. The burial will take place in the Dalton Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the service time.
