Mae Virginia Kemp, 94, of Allisonia passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Highland Nursing and Rehab in Dublin, VA. She was preceded in death by her, husband Glenn P. Kemp; parents, Floyd and Lula Moore; siblings, Annie Stilwell, Susie Dalton, Minnie Hollinsworth, Lynon Moore, Carlos Moore, Sherman Moore, Dewey Moore, Nancy Mabry, and Levi Moore.

Mae was a member of the Farris Mines Christian Church in Allisonia, VA, and she was also a loving Mother and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her, sons and daughters-in-laws, Shirley and Martha Kemp of Allisonia, VA, and Lonnie and Shirley Kemp of Pulaski, VA; four grandchildren and spouses, Leslie and William Steger of Allisonia, VA, Ashley and Matthew Comerford of St. Augustine, FL, Derick and Alisha Kemp of Wytheville, VA, and Heather Kemp and companion Rusty Carpenter of Barren Springs, VA; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three step grandchildren, Donna Settle, Shirley Williams, and Steven Burr.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, VA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Kemp family.
