Madeline Cox Hendrick, 71, of Winston Salem, NC passed away on April 25, 2008 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Hendrick was preceded in death by her parents, Zeb Norman and Ruth Edge Cox. She is survived by husband Marshall B. Hendrick of the home; daughters and sons-in-law Mary & Tim Owens of High Point, NC, Cynthia Ann & Ben Roberge of Denver, NC; sons Brandon Hendrick of Charlotte, NC, Joseph Norman Gravely of Saluda, NC; brothers Don Cox of Valdosta, GA, Jim Cox of Murrells Inlet, SC, Auther Cox of Whispering Pines, NC; sisters Joyce Dillion of Florida, Martha Jane LaFoye of Greer, SC, Lala Caddell of Whispering Pines, NC, Nancy Nora Lee of Miami, FL; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Rev. Sanford Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, immediately preceding the service at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to Hospice of Greer, SC.
