Madelene Dalton Alley, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Grayson Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.  Mrs. Alley was born in Carroll County to the late Swanson and Maude Webb Dalton.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Alley; and brother, James Dalton.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Robinson (Butch) and Freddy Alley (Michelle); step-daughter, Freda Lynn Rapps; grandchildren, Jhas Robinson, Brittany Williams, and Meagen Johnson; eight great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Victory Way Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sandy Hendrick and Pastor Joe Bryant officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mountain Plains Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
