Macil P. Snow, 71, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Snow was born in English, West Virginia to the late Charlie Anderson and Ocie Mitchell Snow. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Joe Evans; brother, William Reese Snow; and brothers-in-law, Burton Glendi Hall and Wiley Lester. He is survived by his wife, Sarah H. Snow of the home; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruby Hall of Hillsville, Remona and Berlie Goad of Galax, and Nadeen Lester of Norton; and special caregivers, Darla Nester, Derrick Nester, Dustin Nester, and Joshua Hendrick; and special little nurses, Chloe Ann Nester and Kayleigh Grace Nester. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Crooked Oak Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Oscar Hill and Rev. Sandy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Oak Cemetery. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Hillsville Masonic Lodge # 193 AF & AM. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
