Mable Cantler, 89 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Cantler was born in Woodlawn, VA to the late James and Ola Williams Hooker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Thomas Cantler.

Survivors include her son, Larry James Hooker.

There will be a graveside service with burial following on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM Woodlawn Cemetery with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
