Mabel B. Tate 75 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mason and Georgia Largen Bowman; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Danny Bowman.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Tate; children and spouses, Kevin and Sherry Tate, and Keisha and Mike Dalton; grandchildren and spouse, Maegan and Dakota Guynn, Morgan Tate, Will Dalton, and Wyatt Dalton; sister, Bonnie Nester; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Joe Bryant and Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
