Mabel Irene Pruitt Martin, 85, of Hillsville passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Martin; parents Raymond and Otilla Dickerson Pruitt. Survivors include her daughter, Judy M. Moore of Hillsville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Lee and Tina Martin of Louisville, KY; sisters and brother-in-law, Mavis Puckett of Laurel Fork, and Macie and Elbert Burcham of Hillsville; three grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer and James Heironimus, Brian Lee and Laura Moore, and Cody Jack Martin; great grandchild, Zachary Heironimus. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Martin family.
