Mabel Webb Montgomery, 96 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Montgomery was born in Floyd County, VA to the late Steve & Ada Quesenberry Webb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil B. Montgomery. Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Jim B. & Erma Montgomery, Samuel L. & Cynthia Montgomery and John W. Sr. & Ruth Montgomery all of Hillsville; sister Reba W. Goad of Galax; granddaughters & spouse Michelle & Steve Martin and Kathleen Montgomery; grandson John W. Montgomery, Jr.; and great grandchildren Lindsay, Cassie and Sami Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the John P. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
