Mabel Marshall, age 83, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. She was the wife of the late William F. Marshall. Mrs. Marshall was a native of Hillsville, VA and a daughter of the late James Wyatt and Emma Worrell Keith. She was a homemaker and attended New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Green, Joseph, Rush, and James Keith; three sisters, Josie Keith, Alta Ray, and Goldie Winnsett; and one grandson, Devin Hall. She is survived by five daughters, Linda Ann Crowder (Nelson), Regina Lea Hall (Pete), Amanda Lethia Ford, Wanda Sue Spoon (Jack), Kathy Marie Hannon (Terry); five grandchildren; six great-granddaughters; and one great-great grandson. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church in Inman, SC with Rev. Ron Gaddy officiating. Graveside service and interment were held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Alderman Memorial Cemetery in Hillsville, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Prospect Baptist Church Joy Club 9321 Hwy 9, Inman, SC 29349. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel assisted with local arrangements.
