Mabel S. Dalton, 100 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. She was born in Carroll County to the late Ed and Lucy Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Leslie E. Dalton; brother, Earlie F. Smith; and sisters, Ethel S. Beamon and Nellie S. Price.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Monta Vista Memory Gardens. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date when gathering restrictions have been lifted. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
