Luvenia "Rhea" Sharp, 73 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Sharp was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Claude Jackson and Neda Florence Crowder. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Wade Sharp; son-in-law, Robert Miles Slusher; grandson, Robert Slusher, Jr.; and siblings, Billy Crowder, Michael Crowder and Fay Hudson.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Slusher, Nathan Sharp (Sandra), Gina Turner (Wayne), and Tina Shaffner; sisters, Barbara Barber, Kay Williams (Carney), and Rita Bowman; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Pastor Wes Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharp Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
