Luster Bowman, 79, of Laurel Fork, Virginia passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.  Mr. Bowman was born January 3, 1945 in Carroll County to the late Daniel and Sarah Melton Bowman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Mary Jane Brady, Andrew Bowman, James Bowman, Jessie Bowman, Lloyd Bowman and Robert Bowman.

Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife Gloria Hiatt Bowman, daughter and son-in-law Crystal Alderman and Howard, grandchildren Hunter Webb, Amy Fusco (Justin) and great grandchild Lydia Fusco, sisters Ileta Billings and Mallie Tuggle.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
