Lura Levora Woods Redd, 90, of Hillsville passed away on July 11, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. She is survived by daughters & son-in-law Elaine & Calvin Bass of Dugspur, Dorothy Jackie Woods of Hillsville, Unice Hulon of Hillsville; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren, and special nephew and nieces Robert & Barbara Leonard, Margaret Ruth Leonard, Michael & Barbara Talley.

The funeral service will be on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy and Pastor Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM preceding the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shiloh Cemetery c/o Harold Golding, Airport Rd, Hillsville, VA 24343.
