Lura Virginia Thompson Mabry of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Radford Hospital at the age of 90. Born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Tommy & Larmie Bolt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mabry was also preceded in death by her husband Cobie Dayton Thompson; brother Eulus Bolt; and sister Gladys Mabry. She is survived by her daughter Linda Dimitris of Corn, OK; three grandchildren Steven Thompson & wife Barbara of Corn, OK, David Thompson of Bland, VA and Shana McKinley & husband Mike of Yukon, OK; three great grandchildren Stevie Thompson of Corn, OK, Sheanna Thompson of Bioluex, Mississippi, and Tee James McKinley of Yukon, OK; and one brother Tommy Bolt of Baltimore, MD.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Bible Church in Dugspur with Rev. Ed Lanning and Rev. Russell Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 11:00 until 12:00. Inurnment will be in the Cox Cemetery at a later date.
