Lula A. Haynes Goad, 92, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Goad; parents, Robert and Ida Ayers Haynes; grandson, Kevin Roy Goad; son-in-law, Alan D. Sumner three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her children and spouses, Betty and C.D. Moles of Dugspur, Judy and James Dickerson of Hillsville, Margaret and Harvey Mullins of Galax, Dianna Sumner of Hillsville, Lewis and Susie Goad of Galax, Roy Leonard Goad of Galax, Junior and Mary Haynes of Florida; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the C.C. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Goad family.
