Luella Catherine Shupe, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Betty Willman of Hillsville, Debra S. & Wayne Smythers of Hillsville and Bonnie & Tim Quesenberry of Indian Valley; sons & daughters-in-law Marvin & Belle Shupe and Wayne & Gail Shupe all of Hillsville; brother Carl Edwards of Galax; sisters Lauella Frazier of Hillsville, Darl Barlow of Austinville and Martha Combs of Hillsville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:30 PM with Elder Tim McGrady and Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday night at the funeral home.
