Lucy Jane (Horton) Neff, 86, of Galax, VA passed away peacefully and was reunited with her late husband, Harry K. Neff, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Galax Nursing and Rehab after a period of failing health.

She was born November 20, 1938 in Fancy Gap, VA to Wise Ellis and Margaret Cassell Horton.  In addition to her husband and parents, Lucy was also preceded in death by her son Tommy Neff and brother, Jackie Horton.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Neff Bostic and Billy Ray Bostic; daughter-in-law, René Neff; grandchildren and spouses, Makenzie Carter and Dustin, Morgan Brown and Darian, Kevin Hutchison and Zoe, and Mary Beth Tracy; and great-grandchildren, Clara Carter, John Thomas Carter, Nora Carter, Jameson Hutchison and Aleigha Hutchison.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wendell Horton and Rev. Bryan Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Neff family.
