Lucille K. (Lulu) Chappell, 77, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Chappell was born in Carroll County to the late Quinton and Frances Iona Dalton Key. Survivors include her husband, George Chappell of the home; son, Edmond Key of Hillsville; brother, Obie Key of Maryland; granddaughter, Taylor Beane; two nieces; and one nephew. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at West Side Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Eddie Bing and Rev. Frank Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
