Lucille Caroline Burnett Iroler, 95, passed away Thursday December 25, 2025 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation.  Mrs. Iroler was born on September 21, 1930 to the late Fredrick Washington Burnett and Odell Dickens Burnett.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kenneth Iroler, brother and sister-in-law James and Estelle Burnett.

Lucille and Ken loved to play golf and enjoyed playing in a golf league several Friday afternoons.  She loved shopping and eating at Cracker Barrel.  She took care of several family members when their health failed.  She made new friends wherever she went. Her friends at Commonwealth Senior Living became family to her. Her family was her life.

She and Ken ran the Fancy Gap Dress Shop for more than 17 years.

She is survived by daughters Bonnie (Dennis) Hiatt and Terry (Robert) Cloud; grandchildren Stevie (Justin) Vass, Kenny (Karrie) Hiatt, Brad Hiatt, Emily (Morgan) Edwards; great grandchildren Coltin Vass, Carter Hiatt, Mason Hiatt, Scarlett Edwards, and Miles Edwards; special friends Mary Ann Williams, Betty Williams, Jerry Robinson and Pastor Duane Steel.

Also surviving are special nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Commonwealth Senior Living.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Gladesboro Lutheran Church with Bill Heim and David Broyles officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  There will be no visitation prior to the service.
