Louise Thomas, 71, of Laurel Fork passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Haven Thomas; parents, Orville Edgar and Almeda Lois Branscome. Louise was a member of Liberty Bible Church. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Renee Thomas of Hillsville; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Scott Winesett of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Susan Branscome of Dugspur; sister, Patty Spangler of Bassett; five grandchildren and spouse, Melissa Thomas Rodriguez and Brad Rodriguez, Lynette Marie Thomas, Rebecca Louise Thomas, Seth Michael Hill, and Brooke Lauren Hill; two great grandchildren, Carter Thomas Rodriguez, and Joseph Brooks Rodriguez. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Laurel Fork Fire Department, P.O.
