Louise Davidson, 82 of Austinville, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Northern Regional Hospital.  Mrs. Davidson was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Ernest and Margaret Horton.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Kathleen Griffin, Josphine Kemp, and Bernice Goad; and brothers, Eugene Horton and Gilmer Horton.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Cecil Davidson; daughter, Lisa Fowler (Dean); granddaughters, Cindy Comer (Jamey) and Jessica Riddle (Colton); great-grandchildren, Isaac, Eli, Mya and Zane Comer and Avery and Grayson Riddle; sisters, Christine Easter, Juanita Jones (Joe), Shirley Porter, and Frances Goad (Verlin); and brothers, Virgil Horton (Joye) and Douglas (Donna) Horton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Pleasant View Church at 12:00 PM with Pastors Ricky Alexander, Dean Fowler, and Russell Payne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant View Church Building Fund 1199 Pleasant View Road, Austinville, VA 24312.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
