Lorine Alderman Goad, wife of Keith D. Goad of Dugspur, VA for 60 years, passed away on January 11, 2015 at the age of 82. Mrs. Goad was born on September 3, 1932 in Floyd County to the late Saford and Louisa Webb Alderman. She was the youngest of 11 children and was preceded in death by her five brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Goad was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her husband, Keith, of the home, Mrs. Goad is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Teresa Goad of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Hope V. Shores of New York, NY and Cory D. Goad of Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Elmon Thomson and Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
