Lorene P. Nester 87 of Hillsville passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ada Harmon Parks.

Survivors include her husband, Arnie Nester of the home; nephew and spouse, Donald and Diana Smith; great nephew and spouse, Donald Adam and Celina Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmo Nester, Ida Eastridge, Olen Gaylon Nester, Arlie and Prue Nester, Stevie and Linda Nester, and Virgil Nester. Several nieces and nephews and several great nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Nester family.
