Loree Mae Harmon

Loree Mae Harmon, 86 of Woodlawn, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab in Galax, Virginia. Mrs. Harmon was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late William Haywood and Jettie Johnson Myers Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Eugene Harmon; daughter, Donna Carole Newman; sister, Mary Ruth Lineberry (Garnett, Jr.), and half-brother, M.A. Robinson.

Loree loved the Lord. She was a long-time member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Lynne Dabbs; son, Steven Douglas Harmon (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Darien Dabbs, Matthew Harmon, and Nathan Harmon (Meagan); brother, Ivan Robinson (Dorothy); and sister, Shirley Hartwell (Lewis).

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
