During her life, she and her husband were dairy farmers as well as motel and retail business owners. She lived in Carroll and Montgomery counties, the last 8 years of her life in Radford. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Rush Taylor Bowman, and her daughter, Rhonda Moore. She is survived by a son and a daughter and their spouses, Danny and Brenda Bowman of Jefferson, N.C. and Billie (B.J.) and Peter Wood of Radford, Va.; grandchildren, Jeremy Bowman, Nicole Lawson, Justin Bowman, Elesha Joyner, and step grandson Chris Wood; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
