Survivors include his wife, Janet Barr Quesenberry; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Benny Hollinsworth; step daughters and spouses, Amanda and Preston Hill and Tracey and Ernest Hopkins; siblings and spouses, Maxine and Jimmy Carroll, Colene Gallimore, Ludlow and Blanche Quesenberry, Modene Quesenberry, Reidell and Juanita Quesenberry, and Anita Collins; five grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 Pm with James Walker and Kenneth Poston officiating. Burial will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
