Lonnie Reed Hall, 70 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mr. Hall was born in Carroll County to the late Russell B. and Dorothy Quesenberry Hall.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Joann T. Hall of the home; daughter, Dorothy Marie Hall of Fancy Gap; grandchildren, Katelyn Marie Nester and Kyle Reed Nester; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Walt Alley of Fancy Gap; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas J. Hall, Sr. and Loraine of Wytheville; and nephews, Thomas J. Hall, Jr. and Danny Doss.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Hillsville First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Michael Shockley and Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
