Lois Phillips Sharp, 86, of Woodlawn, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Grayson Nursing & Rehab in Independence, VA. She was preceded in death by husband Lester Joseph Sharp; parents Rufus Roy & Sadie Mae Coleman Phillips. She is survived by two sisters & brothers-in-laws Emma Carolyn & James Riggins of Galax, and Merlene & Wille Davis of Fancy Gap; brother-in-law & spouse Wade & Rhea Sharp of Hillsville; sister-in-law & spouse Marie Lawson Kirby & Richard Kirby; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 1:30 PM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens with the Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow after the service at Monta Vista Memory Gardens. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
