Lois Maxine Kennedy, 71, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Burgess Philip Allred. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Luther Kennedy of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Brad and Pam Kennedy of Hillsville and Michael Brent Kennedy of Pfafftown, NC; mother, Lois Kanoy Allred of Thomasville, NC; brothers, Philip Michael Allred of Denton, NC and David Lee Allred of Archdale, NC; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Sky View Baptist Church with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Sky-View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sky View Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
