Lois Turman Edwards, 74 of Cana, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Edwards was born on February 28, 1948 to the late Ravin and Lydia Howell Turman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edwards; brother, Wayne Turman; and grandson, Joseph Gwyn.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Lucretia and Gary Ayers and Nevada and Jay Collins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Thomas, Diane and Charlie Shultz, and Kathy and Kenneth Huff; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ann Turman; special friend, Rene Turman; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and thirteen step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Richard Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Turman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
