Lioba Quintana-Chavez Pearman, age 50 of Hillsville, passed away Monday May 8, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Pearman is survived by her husband Danny Ray Pearman of Fries, VA; son Victor Quintana of Queretaro, Mexico; daughters Blanca Quintana of Tamauhipas, Mexico, Imelda Quintana of Mexico City, Mexico and Trudi Quintana; brothers Simitrio (Sammy) L. Quintana-Chavez of Hillsville, Amelio Quintana-Chavez of Houston, TX, and Marcos Quintana-Chavez of Lexington, NC; sisters Maria Luica Quintana-Chavez, Heliberta Quintana-Chavez and Elia Quintana-Chavez all of Queretaro, Mexico; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass was held Monday, May 8, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Father Brant Paul officiating. The family received friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice or to the family.
