Linwood Lee Jones, 62 of Cana passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Jones was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Lawrence Jones, Jr. and Geneva Moles Jones. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Jones of the home; son & daughter-in-law David Lee & Kim Jones of Cana; brothers & sisters-in-law Charles & Virginia Jones of Fancy Gap and Ronnie & Ruby Jones of Pilot Mt., NC; and two grandchildren Joshua Jones and Zackery Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Dink Haynes and Rev. Frances Beam officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
