Linda Bolen Sharp, 58 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Carrington Place in Wytheville. Mrs. Sharp was born in Carroll County to the late Arby Jeff & Ellie Nora Woods Bolen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sharp. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Jean Horton of Barren Springs; brothers & sisters-in-law Robert Jeff Bolen of Hillsville, Clarence Durrell & Lora Bolen of Hillsville, Jess Arlen Bolen of Vinton, VA and Garland & Gloria S. Bolen of Hillsville; grandchildren Anthony Rosenbaum and Monica Rosenbaum both of Hillsville; special niece Stacy Isom; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharp Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family
