Linda Faye Phillips Amburn, 74 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Amburn was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 10, 1947. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby M. Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Amburn; father, Sammie Phillips; brothers, Eugene Phillips (Veronica) and Marcus Phillips (Donna); sisters-in-law, Linda Amburn and Brenda Collins (Charles); several nieces and nephews; special friend, Lois JoAnn McGrady, and three fur babies.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twin County Humane Society P.O. Box 125 Hillsville, VA 24343 or to Mountain Valley Hospice 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
