Linda H. Montgomery, age 81 of Fancy Gap, VA passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Arline and Guy Stoneman; father, Ralph Reavis; brothers, Joe Reavis and Ted Reavis; and son, Matt Montgomery.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jay Montgomery of the home; children, Jayne Hall (Steve) of Hillsville, VA, Kelly Worrell of Woodlawn, VA, and Mike Montgomery (Lori) of Enon, OH; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Reavis of Leesburg, VA; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kasey Sizemore.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sky View Missionary Baptist Church 129 Skyview Drive, Fancy Gap, VA 24328. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
