Linda Kay Burnette, 70, of Woodlawn passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Anders; brother, George "Buster" Anders; sisters, Mildred Rutherford, and Mary Landreth.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Burnette of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Tommy Davis of Woodlawn; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Dina Burnette of Hillsville; brother, Robert (Pete) Anders of Fries; two sisters, Charlotte Cowgill of Galax, and Louise Davis of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Heather Seagraves, Tyler Lester, Matthew Edwards, Mark Edwards, and LaShonda Davis; two great grandchildren, Madison Davis Reed, and Lucas Bowers.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Cas Horton, and Rev. Brian Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hanks-Burnette Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Burnette family.
