Linda Inez Combs Dalton, 72 of Fairlawn, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was born to the late Carlos and Mary Combs of Woodlawn, Va. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Dalton and a sister, Brenda Combs.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leon Dalton of Fairlawn; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Sharmon Dalton of Draper; brother, Wayne Combs of Woodlawn; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Russell Danley of King, NC; brother-in-law and spouse, Roger and Pat Dalton of Boone, NC; grandchildren, Andrew, Nolan and Jasmine Dalton; nieces, Angela Kanipe, Cynthia Allen and Denise Edwards; and nephew, Scotty Dalton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Allen Pearce and Pastor Russell Vass officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Lebanon Cemetery c/o Russell Branscome 36 Quail Ridge Ct. Galax, VA 24333. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
