Lillian A. Hawks, 86, of Fancy Gap passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Waddell Nursing Home in Galax, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt Blaine and Lila Mae Alderman; siblings, Willa Dean Nester, Ethel Marie Alderman, Alvin S. Alderman, and Elmo R. Alderman.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra H. Amburn (Martin) of Galax; son, Matthew David Hawks of Fancy Gap; grandson, Justin B. Amburn; sisters-in-laws, Alice Alderman of Floyd, and Margaret Alderman of Hillsville.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Melvin McGrady and Elder Leonard Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderman-Clontz Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
