Lilias G Turman's Obituary
Lilias Ann Goad Turman, age 94, of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Turman was born October 29, 1922 in Dugspur, Virginia to the late Tate and Elizabeth Turman Goad. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Iverne Floyd Turman and daughter Martha Valentine; grandson Kevin Dalton and great grandson Troy Hall.
Mrs. Turman is survived by daughter Dianne Dalton of Meadows of Dan; son and daughter-in-law Allan and Brenda Turman of Meadows of Dan; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Reed Island Springs Baptist Church with Pastor David Johnson and Pastor Roland McCraw officiating. The family will receive friends at the church + from 1:00 PM until time for the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
