Lettie Mae Horton, 78 of Austinville, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Horton was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Bob and Virginia R. Mink Tucker.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Robert Horton; son, Thomas Horton; grandson, Logan Horton; and siblings, Bud Tucker and Katie Tucker.

Survivors include her sons, Greg Horton (Tracey) and Doug Horton (Sherri); grandchildren, Mykala Johnson (Michael), Daniel Jones (Nikki), Amber Gallimore, and Tanner Horton; great-grandchildren, Korbyn Horton, Airianna Jones, Connor Jones, Lylah Johnson, Westin Johnson, and Easton Horton; sibling, Bobby Tucker (Ada Lou Tucker); fur baby, Trixie; and special friends, Carolyn Griffin, Betty Mabe, Jeanette Mabe, Belinda Lineberry; and Judy Horton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Coulson Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wayburn Mosley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
