Leta P. Duncan (Czar) 93, of Silverwood, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Mrs. Duncan was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Clayburn and Stella Gallimore Duncan. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duncan was also preceded in death by three husbands, Marcus Irons, Al Czar, and Ted Theodorf; four brothers, Cassell Duncan, Heburn Duncan, Stuart Janson Duncan, and Harrison Elijah Duncan; and two sisters, Willie Mae Clark and Vera Arzona Clark; a son-in-law, James Martin Brennan, and several other family members. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Marcus Wayne Irons and wife, Sally, Basil Graham Irons and wife, Linda, and Dwight D. Irons all of Michigan; daughters and son-in-law, Virginia Dare Tatone and husband, John and Leta Pearl Brennan all of Michigan; sisters, Stella Carol McDonald of Michigan, Mary Ella Marshall of Hillsville and Joe Ann Ousley of Allisonia; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dave Wilczynski officiating. Burial will follow in the Allison Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
