Lerty Junior "L.J."  Terry, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  L.J. was born in Laurel Fork, Virginia to the late Lerty Jackson and Orpha Webb Terry.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Jean Terry; and sisters, Vivian Bowman, Mabel Webb, and Lola Mae Joyce.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews; and a large host of family and friends.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens with Daryl Joyce officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM prior to the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Laurel Fork Fire Department.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
